Impression: Print & Production

For the groups to make the anthology, we were informed how to go through creating the design by the printing and production process of creating the physical book.

In the mourning Alistair gave a presentation to us. There some useful tips about printing, communicating with the printers and general information about the product process. There were a lot of information to take in and a lot of it were new to me so I took notes.

The most important thing I took out from this was the print spec sheet. Another important things I took out of this was a ‘wet’proof which is a physical draft of what the book would look like. This is important because after Alistair has shown example of his current work and noticed errors.
